| Parents often feel they are thinking and worrying about
college more than students. Explore what is on students' minds,
why everyone gets so tense and how you can play a constructive
role working with your child. Workshop will address the specific
questions and concerns of participants. |

| EFFECTIVE ESSAYS AND RESUMES 9 -12 GR. |
| For Students and Parents. You do not have to climb Everest
or cure AIDS to capture an admissions officer's interest. Learn
to pick themes that work for you and to write essays with more
impact and to identify and display your accomplishments
advantageously on a resume. We will look at samples of past
applicants' "before" and "after" drafts, and you will learn how
to improve and edit your own work. |

APPLICATION NUTS AND BOLTS - BECOMING A STRONGER CANDIDATE 9-12GR. |
| For Students and Parents. Get an overview of the application
process and timeline, application sections and requirements.
Learn about finding appropriate colleges, standardized testing,
admissions plans, campus visits, choosing extracurricular
activities, tips for essays, interviews, resumes and what to
focus on each year of high school. |
